You Are Never Too Old To Follow Your Dreams!

While 31 years is not considered old, it is considered an advanced age to make a career change by many people.
However, this is exactly what I did when the Nursing profession was no longer able to meet my need to help and support my community's health in a way that felt right to me.

At 31 years old I took a chance and enrolled in the Natural Nutrition program at CSNN, and at 33 years old I said good-bye to the nursing profession after 8 years. This was definitely not an easy decision to make, especially after all of the time, continuing education, relationship-building, enthusiasm and of course the money I had invested in this career.
Of course, I knew, deep down that it wasn't the right place for me anymore.
Taking a leap of faith and following my heart & my dreams has led me to where I am now.
I am the happiest I have ever been, and can truly say that I'm doing what I love!

This doesn't mean that I haven't experienced difficult situations or emotional ups & downs, but I do get up each day with purpose and a zest for life that I never used to have!

I hope that you, no matter what your age is, can use this as motivation to follow your dreams and find the path that leads you to your passion. You are never too old to follow your dreams!
