​Signs your Immune System Needs Support

There are many signs our body gives us to let us know we need to shift our focus and give some extra attention to support our immune system. Some of these are subtle and we overlook them if we’re not tuned in to our body. While some other signs and symptoms are quite apparent, unable to ignore, and can literally stop us in our tracks.
Here’s a list of signs and symptoms you may experience that is the body’s way of telling you the immune system needs some support:
  • Allergies
  • Frequent colds and/or flus
  • Diarrhea, constipation or other digestive issues
  • Autoimmune condition onset or flare-ups
  • Fatigue or decreased energy
  • Brain fog or difficulty concentrating
  • Feeling overstressed
  • Your wounds are slow to heal
  • Dry, itchy skin, blemishes, eczema and other skin issues
  • Muscle and joint pain

If you experience any of these issues it’s worth looking into what changes you can make to support your immune system.

This may include ensuring you’re getting movement/exercise everyday, accessing fresh air, eating a healthy diet, decreasing or supporting your stress, getting adequate sleep, socializing/fostering community, and supplementing according to your individual needs.
