Since starting my journey into holistic nutrition and healing my body, I’ve discovered that the ‘natural’ way is 99.9% better than a synthetic, band-aid, modern-conventional, whatever-you-want-to-call-it approach.
Whether it be real food over processed food, time in nature over indoor activities, or a natural preventative approach over prescriptions and relying on our ‘sick-care system’, nature’s way always wins.
Now that I’m approaching the 6-month mark of my pregnancy, I’ve also given a lot of thought into the natural approach to childbirth. As I sift through the research and various celebrated authors on the topic of a natural, calm and intervention-free birth, I’m amazed at how disconnected we’ve become from how powerful, smart and truly amazing our bodies are.
Since I’m a pretty private person, I have not, and will not be sharing a lot regarding my pregnancy or my birth with my social media circle. However, I will say that I do plan on trusting in my own body and nature’s way to ensure a calm and gentle birth as so many women before me have also done.
My hope is that whatever challenge or stage in life you are journeying through you too will trust in your body and the power of the natural approach.
