There are over 200 different varieties of Pelargonium (geranium) flowers, only a few of these are used as essential oils. As an essential oil, Geranium can be dated back to ancient Egypt where it was often used beautify skin and for many other benefits.
Geranium essential oil is supportive of the heart, blood, and blood vessels. It also carries hemostatic (stops bleeding), regenerative and antitoxic properties. Try diluting a few drops in your favourite lotion or oil such as coconut, jojoba or shea butter and applying as a nourishing whole body lotion. **As always, if you're new to essential oils, seek out someone you trust who is familiar with them who can help you get started!
